      <image:caption>Ashley is a born-and-raised San Diegan who began to develop a love for lifting in a local strength and conditioning gym by the age of nine. As a senior in high school she developed and facilitated a strength and conditioning program for her high school’s JV and Varsity basketball team. After this, Ashley obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy through San Diego State University. During her undergraduate career, she began an internship with 1RM Performance in January 2018, and soon after she became a Certified Personal Trainer, as well as part of the 1RM Coaching Staff. She spent two semesters as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Exercise Physiology lab, focusing on projects regarding Sports Performance. In addition to experience in the gym, lab, and classroom, Ashley has nearly two years of experience facilitating corrective exercise in a clinical Physical Therapy setting as a Physical Therapy Aide and Personal Trainer. Ashley also puts her knowledge to use through her role as a co-director and clinic coordinator for Refugee Health Alliance, where she has helped members of at-risk populations relieve pain caused by musculoskeletal imbalances through corrective exercise and health education.       <image:caption>Julianne has over 12 years of experience working with the body from mobility to strength with all demographics. Julianne has specialized in working with prenatal and postpartum women through their fitness. Julianne’s most important goal as a coach is to create a plan for success with each and every client and work to execute it together. Julianne has been teaching yoga and coaching fitness in San Diego for 12 years. Starting as a yoga instructor and building upon her knowledge of movement and the body through a decade in studios, she began coaching strength and conditioning in 2014.  With over 10,000 hours of experience as both a Vinyasa and Yin yoga instructor, she has spent the last decade plus learning how to teach to the body as an individual, and adjust for each human she works with. She has multiple additional yoga certifications that apply to yoga therapy, working through mobility and spinal injuries, developing safe movement practices and specifically working with athletes across a multitude of sports.  As her career grew through hard work and relentless commitment, Julianne transitioned to a full time Strength and Conditioning coach, making yoga more of an addition to her life, instead of her career. At her last gym, Julianne was the Head Coach and programmer for 5 years. Through working with her athletes and her own journey, she has learned even more about the body, and it's capabilities. She worked to achieve certifications in FRC (Functional Range Conditioning) a mobility certification that has changed the way she approaches and teaches movement. Julianne is also a USA Weightlifting Level 2 Coach, as well as specializing in working with pregnant and postpartum athletes thanks to the seminar she attended with BirthFit, as well as the dozen or so mamas that have come to her specifically to train for birth, which led her to pursuing her certification as a Doula as well.  As a coaching and fitness professional, Julianne’s goal is to help you with your mindset and challenge you to surprise yourself with what you’re capable of. Her confident nature and command of a room allows people to trust her and leave class feeling successful no matter what. Her clientele has been wide ranging and eclectic from Olympic athletes, Military Special Forces, competitive power and weight lifters, pregnant and postpartum mamas, adaptive athletes, to everyone in between. Julianne is currently pursuing her Backcountry and Urban EMT through National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) to further build upon her knowledge of the human body, as well as leadership skills and how to respond to anything that can happen in a remote area.       <image:caption>Dan is a holistic pain expert that specializes in helping people struggling with pain and injuries heal quickly and completely so they can live their life to the fullest. He uses a variety of different tools to get to the root cause of your pain and form a plan that will actually work: posture assessments, stress assessments, corrective exercise, muscle testing, breath-work, lymphatic massage, bodywork, sleep coaching, and many others. Dan’s passion for understanding the human body came early. He started working out at 11 years old and was instantly hooked. By 15, he was studying the muscles of the body and had his path set on being a personal trainer. Dan got a degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Northridge, and began his career as a personal trainer with Equinox. 9 months into his dream job, Dan got in a surfing accident and unknowingly broke his neck. He went to multiple doctors and many specialists and nobody could figure out why he kept experiencing recurring headaches and concussion symptoms. This went on for 19 months. Dan had to give up his dream job, move back home with his parents, and live a limited life. He saw how flawed the medical system was and how much pain took away your freedom and quality of life. After Physical Therapy failed and he was left broke, Dan decided he was going to figure it out himself. Through his own research and discovery, he learned that his TMJ issues and anxiety were causing his neck to become more unstable, and invented his own rehab and exercises to get himself healthy. He learned how to significantly reduce his anxiety, fix his lifelong jaw issues, completely stabilize his neck, and completely reverse his symptoms. December 31st, 2017 was the last day he had pain. 3 months later he got an MRI and they determined that he had signs of a fracture in C2 that had now healed properly. He was in shock. The shock and amazement of realizing he had unknowingly rehabbed a broken neck by himself made him realize there are other people suffering like him and not receiving help from the broken medical system. He made it his mission to help people like you break through so they can regain their joy and quality of life. He believes that with the correct assessment and strategy to address the root cause, anybody can heal.</image:caption>

While attending school, she served as the head Performance coach for San Diego Loyal Men’s professional soccer team.
